1st month update //
I wouldn't lie, the first month here has been pretty rough; it has been fun, exhilarating, stressful and draining all wrapped up in one. However, with that being said, the way that I would best describe my first month here would be a month full of God's grace. In everything, I'm thankful for His sweet and perfect unmerited grace that has been more than enough for me.
I thank God for His calming presence that surrounds me when I get my panic attacks. I thank God for His empowering strength that brings me through days where I feel like I'm not going to make it through. I thank God for His perfect joy that keeps me joyful even the hardest and most trying times. I thank God for His unconditional love that never will never let me go. And above all, I thank God for His amazing grace that has brought me through day after day after day.
I believe that there's a purpose in me coming to HK and each day I'm learning a little bit more about this purpose of mine. So here's a little request from me that you all will keep on covering me in prayer as I go about on this journey <3
Hong Kong Tuesday 3 September 2013 
Greetings from HK :)
It really is so crazy how we're actually here in hong kong now and in fact we've already been here for 5 days.
Am I excited? Well, not really. I guess the peak of the excitement was when we first got the internship results and from then on the excitement started fading away into a pool of fear and doubt. Right now, I'm more overwhelmed than anything I guess. Adapting to HK has been pretty ok (thanks to the current interns) but work has been quite a challenge cause everything is so new to us. But with that being said, how often do you get whisked off to a foreign land to work for 7 months? As much as it is crazily overwhelming, it is really exhilarating as well. I know that it's gonna be an experience of a lifetime and that's the motivation that's going to keep me going even when times get tough here.
Please pray for me and for my loved ones back home, that we'll always find strength in the Lord to make it through this 7 months <3
